Grateful for Twenty-Three

Good Morning Loves! Today's my BIRTHDAY, I am turning 23 years old the oldest I've ever been! Seem like now-a-days the years just keep going by faster, but I am thankful to have lived another one. This morning I am celebrating with my family and three banana pancakes, from the best granny. To continue the celebration Calvin and I are headed to San Antonio this weekend. I am so excited to have a fulfilled weekend with him doing some of my favorite things. Thursday we plan on going out on the town for a little dancing, Friday we are floating the river, and Saturday calls for a relaxing spa day.
This shoot has to be one of my favorites, we took these pictures at a local Ice Cream Shop Holly Hops. What's a better way to celebrate your birthday than with some cake batter ice cream?! SOO DELICIOUS! Todays outfit is so fun and bright. Who else loves wearing yellow in the summer? Brings out your tan, even if you don't have one. LOL Hoping to add some color to me this weekend!

23 Reason I am Grateful for another 365 days:

1. Waking up this morning alive and healthy
2. Unconditional family love
3. Movie nights with junk food
4. Snuggles on the couch
5. My favorite song being played on the radio
6. Finding money in my pockets
7. Watching my bonus children grow
8. The smell of rain
10. My friends
11. Hot Tea
12. Fresh seasonal fruit
13.Unexpected surprises
14. The beauty of the moon
15. Gods love
16. Hot baths
17. Family gatherings
18. My education
19.Finding Inspiration
20. Memoires
21. Adventures
22. Finding love
23.Cake batter ice cream
24.( to grow on) Small things, big things & everything in between

Thank you SO much for giving me the best birthday gift I could ask for - your love and support for me means so much and I am forever grateful to share with you!

Birthday Motivation: " Dare to think different, it's the best way to succeed. Dare to dream big, fuel your fire to achieve. There's only one of you, be as unique as you are. Take your own journey, step by step you'll go far."

XOXO-Katherine

Home Decor

JANUARY HOME DECOR   Hola F riends! Happy Friday!! Today I am sharing a few home décor items that I have decorated the house with lately.. starting with the fact that everything I have linked is pretty much under $20! Anyone else feel like their house looks so empty without Christmas décor everywhere?! In our house we basically have two living rooms, one we use as a tv room and the other has been completely empty until now. Calvin got me couches for Christmas and I put our Christmas tree up in there this year so its slowly starting to look like a 'living room'. Living in a small town there are not many options to shop home décor. Believe it or not I get most of my home décor from our store in Fort Stockton, TX Ace Home Center and Dollar General! You'd be so surprised on what you can find and how affordable it is. Everything I have pictured is linked and you can shop instantly through this page. I'm still slowly adding more décor to our front living room so stay tu...

Stripe Crepe Romper

Hello Friends, Happy Friday & Happy June! June by far has to be my favorite month, maybe because it's my birthday month or maybe because it's the start of summer, who knows! All I know is that the summer weather has most definitely started to kick in. When is it actually okay to go outside? 90 degrees in the morning and 110 degrees in the afternoon geezzzz. This week I have started the moving process to Monahans, TX with my boyfriend and I am so excited to see what the future holds for us. Especially because he's been living in a man cave and I can't wait to transform our house into a HOME. Lots of home décor tips coming soon! Today I want to share with you this fun off the shoulder romper, that I wore last weekend for my brothers graduation.  First things first I am LOVING stripes right now. I've found myself wearing all kinds of different colors of stripes. This fun, Stripe Crepe Romper is from Forever 21 and a must have in your closer. You can't g...
