5 Different ways to Style A T-Shirt Dress

5 Ways To Style A T-Shirt Dress

Hey Hey, How are you guys today?! I am feeling very blessed to have survived another great week. I thought I would be getting a break from school and have time to myself this week but that didn't happen. School ends and work calls. I have been so busy it seems this week and I am so ready for a little down time this weekend with the boyfriend. Hoping to get a little shopping done and maybe have a margarita or two! This week I want to share with you several ways to style a t-shirt dress. I love being able to wear the same thing and not feeling like I just wore that outfit.

ONE

First off I am loving this t-shirt dress. You can seriously wear so many ways, dress up or down depending on your occasion. This particular dress I found is from Forever 21, super comfy and soft. I love that it's the perfect length. I'm a sucker for neutral colors and stripes. My first look shows the dress styled by itself, effortless and cute.

TWO

Second, this has to be my go to look when I'm looking to add just a little something more. Simply tie around your waist your desired Jean Jacket and ta da, you're ready for any causal event life throws at you without a warning.

THREE

Third, I paired my favorite Denim Skirt on top, making the dress look like a tucked in shirt. Add to this look your favorite pair of wedges and a statement necklace, you'll be set for a night out on the town.

FOUR

For my fouth look I added a layer, adding layers to an outfit can always change the look so much. For example, with this outfit I layered a peplum ivory tank top to match the stripes but, you could always go for a brighter color to make the outfit pop a bit more.

FIVE

This fifth look has the be all time favorite look because its so casual but still good looking. I simply tied a knot to transform the dress into a fitted shirt and paired with shorts. Doesn't get much easier than that!
Now treat yourself this weekend and go buy a t-shirt dress, this one is so inexpensive just under $15, can't beat it!

Stayed tuned next week, my bubba is graduating high school and I cant wait to talk all about him with y'all. Here's to having an awesome FriYAY!

"You really are good enough, pretty enough, and strong enough"
XOXO-Katherine

Engagment Story

Calvin and I landed in San Diego, California Wednesday evening and headed straight to our destination in La Jolla, a small tourist town right outside of San Diego. I was so ready to go down to the beach and relax but Calvin insisted that we get ready for dinner and then go to the beach. I asked Calvin what should I wear something casual or dressy he says he’s going to dress casual so I’m thinking dinner is nothing fancy and we are just going to go down to the beach and watch the sunset before dinner. We get down to the “spot” right off the La Jolla cove, this view is amazing!! I see stairs and immediately want to go down but Calvin insisted again that we should go where there is less people, so he starts walking towards people?? Half way to the bridge where he wants to go he then stops and says wait lets go back so there we go turning around going down to the same stairs I had originally said lets go to. Little did I know that he was trying to figure out the spot the p...

Home Decor

JANUARY HOME DECOR   Hola F riends! Happy Friday!! Today I am sharing a few home décor items that I have decorated the house with lately.. starting with the fact that everything I have linked is pretty much under $20! Anyone else feel like their house looks so empty without Christmas décor everywhere?! In our house we basically have two living rooms, one we use as a tv room and the other has been completely empty until now. Calvin got me couches for Christmas and I put our Christmas tree up in there this year so its slowly starting to look like a 'living room'. Living in a small town there are not many options to shop home décor. Believe it or not I get most of my home décor from our store in Fort Stockton, TX Ace Home Center and Dollar General! You'd be so surprised on what you can find and how affordable it is. Everything I have pictured is linked and you can shop instantly through this page. I'm still slowly adding more décor to our front living room so stay tu...

Grateful for Twenty-Three

Good Morning Loves! Today's my BIRTHDAY, I am turning 23 years old the oldest I've ever been! Seem like now-a-days the years just keep going by faster, but I am thankful to have lived another one. This morning I am celebrating with my family and three banana pancakes, from the best granny. To continue the celebration Calvin and I are headed to San Antonio this weekend. I am so excited to have a fulfilled weekend with him doing some of my favorite things. Thursday we plan on going out on the town for a little dancing, Friday we are floating the river, and Saturday calls for a relaxing spa day.  This shoot has to be one of my favorites, we took these pictures at a local Ice Cream Shop Holly Hops. What's a better way to celebrate your birthday than with some cake batter ice cream?! SOO DELICIOUS! Todays outfit is so fun and bright. Who else loves wearing yellow in the summer? Brings out your tan, even if you don't have one. LOL Hoping to add some color to me t...
